Attractions around Loweswater: The lake is owned by the National Trust, and there is a lakeside path. In addition in Holme wood on the south of the lake there is Holme Force, a beautiful waterfall.In addition to the beauty of the Lake itself, there are also a number of attractions around Loweswater, including the nearby fells, especially Pillar, High Stile and Red Pike to the west, Grasmoor to the north, and Robinson and Dale Head to the east. The Kirkstile Inn is in Loweswater village, at the southern end of the lake.
